Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) Recruitment 2018-19

Manipur IRB Police Recruitment 2018-19- Apply for 1350 Rifleman (Class-III, Non-Gazetted and Combatant) Position for 10th and 11st Battalion.
They will be cover under the New Pension Scheme issued vide Govt. of Manipur Finance Department’s O M No. 3/44/2004-FD(PIC)(A) dated 20/2/2006.
Post are temporary but likely to be declared permanent later on.
Only male candidates are eligible for the post of rifleman.
Duties of rifleman: Prevention of Crime, Maintenance of Law and Internal Security.

Educational Qualifications for Rifleman:

Essential

Rs.5200-20200+ GP Rs. 1900/p.m.

Upper Age limit relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and upto 3 years in case of OBC candidates. For meritorious sportsperson, an additional relaxation of 5 years will be given to all candidates (ST/SC/OBC/General).

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will comprise the following events

    A.      100 meters race- Full marks 10

A candidates has to qualify in all the above four events. Disqualification in any of the four events will automatically is disqualify. The candidates from being eligible to participate in the remaining recruitment process (Written and Viva-Voce).

Written Test: Total marks 40

                Candidates declared to be qualified in the PET will be allowed to appear for the written test which will consists of

Candidates are to choose one topic from among given topic.

Viva-Voce Total Mark- 20            

Candidates declared to be qualified in both the PET and written test will appear for the Viva-Voce test.

Final Selection (Grand Total 100 marks)

Final selection will be on the basis of cumulative total marks obtained in Physical Efficiency Test, Written Test and Viva-Voce.
All selected candidates shall undergo medical examination and police verification. The selected candidates will be considered for appointment only if found medical fit and cleared in police verification.

Probation, if any

2(two) years from the date of appointment
And extendable by one more year.

  


Application Form are available in all the offices of Superintendents of Police of the concerned district on payment of Rs.200/-( Rupees Two Hundred only) only per Form. The Form is to be filled up by the candidates himself in legible hand writing.
While submitting the application from, the candidates must ensure to enclose self-attested certificate copies of educational qualifications, date of birth, ST/SC/OBC, NCC, Sports etc .
Candidates should bring original certificates  of educational, NCC training, Sports, ST/SC/OBC at the time  of coming PET  and also subsequently as required by the DPC, Ex-Serviceman candidates should bring their discharges certificates in originals.
Candidates are advised to keep 3 copies of the same passport size photographs affixes on the form for future use in any future requirement.
No TA/DA will be paid by the department. Candidates Should come for the recruitment at their own arrangement and expenses.
Candidates belonging to a District will submit the application from to the concerned Employment Exchange before 03-01-2019. For Pherzawl, Kamjong, Kakching, Tengnoupal and Noney Districts, they are to submit it to the Employment Exchange of Churchandpur, Ukhrul, Thoubal, Moreh and Tamenglong respectively.
